This is intended to be a bi-annual event with the Open Gardens weekend. The festival “touring & judging” weekend was June 17th & 18th 2023.

The 2023 festival was sponsored by Hills Funeral Services, Walton House, Chalkes, Beauty Box, Butt of Sherry & Jeans Electrical. The sponsorship allowed us to provide plenty of application forms as well a full list with map of all participants. There were prizes of £100, £75 & £50 for the first, second & third as chosen by the public.

Judging was by the public, who were invited to tour the town over the weekend of 17/18th June.

The overall theme for the scarecrows was a character from a book.
